Has dealt with shoulder soreness this spring

(PEORIA, AZ.) – Batesville native Bryan Hoeing hasn’t had it easy during spring training for the San Diego Padres.
Hoeing has battled shoulder soreness for the majority of camp and hasn’t been able to return to the mound.
San Diego manager Mike Schildt told reporters that he doesn’t expect Hoeing to be on the Opening Day roster for the Padres.
However, there is a good chance he returns to San Diego after fully recovering as Hoeing is expected to be a key part of the bullpen in 2025.
Bryan was traded from Miami to San Diego last summer and immediately made a difference for the Padres.
He appeared in 18 games and had a 1.52 ERA with 18 strikeouts for the Padres.
