Batesville senior signs to continue track & field career in college

Eckstein will go to Marian

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A Batesville senior has signed his letter of intent to continue his athletic and academic career in college

Ayden Eckstein is a high jumper who tied Batesville’s all-time school record last year. 

He has found success not only locally but at state and national tournaments. 

He competed at the Indoor Nationals in New York City on March 15 and followed that by placing third at the Hoosier Relays last week. 

In 2024, he placed 14th at the Outdoor Nationals in Philadelphia.

Eckstein just committed to continue his career with Marian University where he will be part of the Track & Field team.
