Benefit account established after Versailles mother killed in crash

Funds needs to support three kids, funeral expenses

(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – The community is being urged to support a local family after the tragic loss of a young mother.

34-year-old Ashley Hunger passed away after a car crash on U.S. 421 in Rexville on Tuesday night.

To make matters even worse, her kids were traveling in the vehicle with her and her boyfriend when the accident occurred.

The unexpected passing has left the family facing significant funeral expenses and costs to help support her two sons and one daughter.

A Memorial Fund has been established through Friendship State Bank and you can make a deposit by visiting or calling any local branch.

It is called the “Ashley Hunger Memorial Fund”

You can also mail a check to any Friendship State Bank branch made payable to Michelle Hunger or Jayden Hunger.

We are reaching out to ask for your help in providing support to her family in this challenging time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be deeply appreciated and will allow us to focus on remembering her beautiful life,” her family said.
