Bright Stars win tournament, earn trip in front of Arnold Schwarzegger

Earned a full paid bid to Florida

(COLUMBUS, OH.) –A local youth cheer program had a big performance at a tournament this past weekend in Columbus, Ohio. 

Bright Stars Athletics competed at the Arnold Sports Festival and they won first place! 

Their performance also earned them a full paid bid to compete at a tournament in Florida! Bright Stars was one of just five squads to earn a bid. 

Who inspired the Arnold Sports Festival you ask? It happens to be Arnold Schwarzenegger himself, and he was in attendance. 

“While waiting to compete we were greeted by Arnold Schwarzenegger and got to shake his hand! He even watched our performance, where you’ll see him clapping for us,” said Bright Stars Athletics owner Kelsey West-Olive.
