Brookville's Bill Lowen wins second career Bassmaster Elite Series tournament

Tournament marked his 200th Bassmaster event

(PALATKA, Fla.) – A Brookville resident just won his second career Bassmaster Elite Series tournament!
Bill Lowen earned the hard fought victory at the FXR Pro Fish Bassmaster Elite on the St. Johns River in Palatka, Florida, which is the first tournament of the year on the series.
Lowen started the day on top of the leaderboard with 63 pounds 10 ounces worth of catches.
He caught 10 pounds 4 ounces on Sunday to secure his spot as a two-time Bassmaster Elite champion.
Lowen is a 20-year veteran of the series and this tournament marked his 200th Bassmaster event.
This also marked his 24th top 10 finish in his career.
