Carson Hughes Foundation surprises Napoleon family with free vacation

(NAPOLEON, Ind.) – The Carson Hughes Foundation surprised a family on Sunday with a free vacation! 

Carson's parents, Jason and Mandy, visited the Pindell family in Napoleon to notify them that they are the first-ever recipients of Carson’s Bucket List Adventures.

Carson loved to travel, specifically to National Parks, and see the beautiful landscapes and animals. 

“While we are so blessed to have his photographs of each of these trips, we are most grateful for the memories we made as a family,” the family said. 

Following his passing, one of the initiatives his family started was to honor him by giving other families a chance to travel as well.

The Pindell family will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Cuyahoga Valley, New River Gorge, and Shenandoah National Park later this year. The Hughes family will join them on the trip.

“We are honored to be able to provide this experience with a family as a way to honor Carson by continuing to check off his bucket-list,” they said.
