Dearborn County officials warn about upcoming flooding

Several roads are expected to close

(AURORA, Ind.) – The Dearborn County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is warning the community about upcoming flooding.
Southeast Indiana will receive several inches of rain through Sunday and it will lead to flooding.
That will impact flood-prone areas including along the Ohio River. The river is expected to crest at 56 feet on Monday.
The EMA office is reminding people to not drive through high water on roadways.
The following roads in Dearborn County are not closed now butwill during the flooding. Other roads could be closed as well:
State Route 56 in Aurora between Judiciary and 5th
East Laughery at Shilo Lane
East Laughery at Gregory
Cross Road at Goose Run
Park Avenue
Cole Lane
Stewart St at U.S. 50
