Greensburg student doesn't let anything hold her back

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A Greensburg second grader doesn’t let any obstacles hold her back and that is why she is our FCN Student of the Week!
Myla Speer was 8-months-old when she was diagnosed with the Sturge-Weber Syndrome.
“This makes some activities a little harder for her, but you’d never know it with the smile that rarely leaves her face,” said the person who nominated her.
Myla stays very active as she is involved in the Young Champions program, Special Olympics, cheerleading and softball.
She and her family also hold an annual fundraiser to raise money for research and a cure for Sturge-Weber Syndrome.
While at school, Myla has a classroom full of friends and is always smiling.
Nearly every recess, she uses her free time to make cards for her teacher, friends and family!
Keep up the great work, Myla and we are all very proud of you!
