First Responder Spotlight: Dillon Davidson

Has served multiple communities as a first responder

(MILAN, Ind.) – Those who own a small business know how difficult and time consuming that is.

Dillon Davidson has owned Double D Property Maintenance and Snow Removal since 2018.

He has devoted just as much time to serving his community in multiple ways.

Davidson has been a volunteer firefighter for the past 12 years and has served on multiple departments.

He has been with the Milan Fire Department for the entirety of his service career, and also serves as a part-time firefighter for Batesville as well as Moores Hill.

Responding to fires isn’t the only way he has given back to the community.

Davidson has also worked as a reserve police officer in Sunman, Lawrenceburg, Hidden Valley and Decatur County.

The person who nominated him said, “He responds to calls at any time of day, whether it be a fire, car wreck, medical emergency, or any other type of call.”

Dillon doesn’t just show up for emergencies.

He also spends time helping with department fundraisers such as chicken dinners, golf outings, raffles, the Milan Christmas Walk and much more.

“He is very involved in the community, and he would absolutely give the shirt off of his back to help anyone,” the nominator said. “He absolutely loves what he does, and he will continue to give his time to those who need help until he is unable to do so.”

We admire Dillon’s commitment and passion for helping others and he is well-deserving of the FCN Bank First Responder Spotlight.
