Greensburg grad serves as Analytics Director for Notre Dame football

Helped the Irish beat Gerogia on Thursday

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) -- A Greensburg native has a pretty big role on the sidelines for Notre Dame football. 

Anthony Treash has served as the Director of Analytics for the football team since August.

He made headlines last night as he spotted interacting with head coach Marcus Freeman during Notre Dame’s 23-10 victory over Georgia. 

He was hired to help evaluate trends of prospects and the current team, and can be seen providing some in-game decision making with the head coach.

The 2017 Greensburg graduate earned a sports management degree from IU and previously worked as an analyst at Pro Football Focus. He also has had marketing and sales stints for the Pacers, Colts and Reds.

Treash also worked as the assistant pro at the Greensburg Country Club.
