Jury reaches verdict in Franklin Co. attempted murder case

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) -- A jury has reached a verdict in an attempted murder case in Franklin County.
Gregory Guilfoyle was accused of shooting his wife, before getting into a gunfight with a Frankin County deputy during a snowstorm in December 2022.
On Monday, the jury found Guilfoyle Guilty But Mentally Ill on all counts.
He was charged with two counts of Attempted Murder, along with six other charges.
It took the jury approximately two hours to reach the verdict.
