Suspects allegedly stole watches from an individual
(SEYMOUR, Ind.) – The Seymour Police Department has made an arrest after a two-month investigation into a suspected robbery.
Investigators say two men went to the Motel 6 to purchase watches from an individual on November 7.
The men allegedly tried on the watches and then ran out of the hotel with the items.
One of the suspects fell when they were being chased by the victim. The victim caught up with him and that is when the suspect allegedly displayed a gun.
The victim backed away and the suspect ran off.
The police investigation led to the arrest of 18-year-old Donta Jackson, Jr. of Indianapolis on January 9.
Jackson has been charged with robbery as the investigation continues.
