(MILAN, Ind.) – Milan sixth graders participated in the annual project to learn all about the Titanic.
It is taught by Milan teacher Shawna Potts and it is a project that students look forward to all year.
The students learned about the construction of the ship, the timelines of events, the passengers and crew along with the circumstances that led to the Titanic sinking.
They also had an opportunity to build a replica of the ship.
Students spent about three weeks researching the project and then held presentations on Thursday.
