(OLDENBURG, Ind.) – Oldenburg Academy has named Jason Walke to the newly-created role of Director of Academic Innovation.
Walke will focus on enhancing student learning through experiential programs and oversee the Academy’s new learning schedule, Go Beyond 4.0, and Mission Mondays.
He will also coordinate senior internships, junior fellowships, sophomore seminar, and freshmen academy—key components of the Mission Monday curriculum.
“ I look forward to expanding my work with community partners, coordinating Mission Mondays, and building even closer relationships with our faculty and students. These programs will help prepare our students for life after school and support our mission of developing service-oriented individuals,” Walke said.
The role will involve immersive educational experiences, including guest speakers, off-campus visits, and service projects, while ensuring that the curriculum aligns with academic goals.
Additionally, he will manage the logistics for Mission Mondays, a key initiative that fosters student growth through service and real-world opportunities.
