(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – North Decatur Elementary students had the opportunity to explore different careers on Monday.
A Touch-A-Truck was held that featured vehicles and equipment from several different industries.
There was agriculture equipment, a firetruck, police cars, excavators, semis, tractors, cars and more.
It was organized by teacher Jackie Blair who wanted to give students a hands-on experience.
“We had career day in the past where they just heard speeches, and I thought they could get more out of this. I am just thrilled with how many people have been willing to participate and the companies have been so good to us,” said Blair.
A similar event was held at South Decatur Elementary on Monday.
