(CULVER CITY, CA.) – Osgood native Julie Wilhoit has lived in Los Angeles for several years.
She is a former longtime college basketball coach at Loyola Marymount University and lives in Culver City, which is just a few miles from Pacific Palisades.
She has multiple friends who have lost their homes in the fires and can see the flames and smoke from her backyard.
Wilhoit describes how she first learned of the wildfires, the current conditions in Pacific Palisades, and how people are coming together across the Los Angeles area.
She is also going to open up her house to a family in need.
