Rising Sun $1K scholarships available for seven schools

Must reside in Ohio, Ripley County or in Aurora or Batesville

(RISING SUN, Ind.) – Some seniors can apply for a $1,000 scholarship from the Rising Sun Regional Foundation. 

It’s for seniors who attend Batesville, East Central, Jac-Cen-Del, Milan, Rising Sun, South Dearborn and South Ripley. 

The student must live in either Ripley or Ohio County, the City of Aurora or the City of Batesville. 

Additionally, scholarships are available to graduating seniors who are homeschooled or attend private or parochial schools, provided they are residents of the RSRF service area, which includes Ohio and Ripley counties and the cities of Aurora and Batesville. 

To apply, students must submit a completed scholarship application along with transcripts by March 1, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
