(RUSHVILLE, Ind.) –A Rushville senior is receiving a big opportunity through Eli Lilly and Purdue University.
Heidi Stanley has been accepted into the Lilly Scholars at Purdue Program.
It's part of an innovative scholarship program that develops interest and talent in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The program is for students who have overcome socioeconomic or educational disadvantages, or who are among the first generation of their family to attend college.
Stanley will receive 8 semesters of free tuition, professional development coursework, and a guaranteed paid internship at Lilly during her sophomore year.
She will also have access to the Lilly Scholars Program Manager as well as Purdue alumni and industry leaders.
