SEIMA grant available for teen musicians to follow their dreams

Deadline to apply is March 31

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Do you know a local teenager who has a passion for music? 

The Southeastern Indiana Musician's Association (SEIMA) is continuing their tradition of helping young musicians follow their dreams. 

Eligible applicants must be between 14 and 19-years old and live in Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley or Switzerland counties. 

SEIMA will provide performance opportunities, mentorship and $1,000 each to two different winners. 

Applicants will need to submit a link to an audition performance video that showcases their musical skills and talents. 

“Videos will be evaluated based on the performance only, video production value is not factored into an applicant’s qualifications. A cell phone video is perfectly fine,” SEIMA said. 

The deadline to apply for this unique opportunity is March 31.
