South Decatur's Johnson to continue football career in college

Made his announcement on Wednesday

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – South Decatur standout running back Corbin Johnson has decided where he will continue his football career. 

Johnson announced on Wednesday that he will attend Georgetown College in Kentucky. 

During the announcement, he expressed gratitude to those who have supported him along the way.

“Thank you God for the obstacles and opportunities you have placed in front of me that have led me to where I am today,” he said. 

After thanking his family he said, “Thank you to every coach that has developed me into the player that I am and every coach that has offered me an opportunity to play at the next level. Lastly, rest in peace dad, this for you!”

Johnson had 154 carries for 1,623 yards and 23 touchdowns for the Cougars this past season.
