Three athletes qualify for inaugural IHSAA Girls Wrestling State Championship

Qualified on Friday

(MOORESVILLE, Ind.) – Three local student-athletes will compete at the inaugural IHSAA Girls Wrestling State Championship next weekend. 

Milan’s Kayla Roell, Switzerland County’s Klaire Redwine and East Central’s Leighna Prater all qualified for the state finals during the Regionals on Friday. 

The qualifiers are determined by the top four finishers in each weight class at the Regionals. 

The state finals will take place at Indiana State Fairgrounds on Friday, January 17. General public tickets are $15 and will go on sale on Wednesday.
